There are many modalities, methods, and tools you can utilize to help minimize the number of emotions from becoming trapped again. But, first, you must learn how to master your mind if you want to create long-lasting change no matter which tools you use. ​ What you think affects your emotional and physical state.  If thoughts are powerful to make you sick, they are powerful enough to make you well. Negative self-talk is one of the most destructive habits we have. Yet, most often, we aren’t even consciously aware that they exist. We usually don’t recognize there’s a problem until our body can no longer function in our day-to-day.  If we can learn how to take control of our thoughts, we can learn how take control of our emotions.    By remaining present and aware of our thoughts, we can learn how to quiet the mind, identify emotions as they arise, and process through them more effectively.
